A dynamic speaker, musician and author, Anne Morse-Hambrock brings a full range of talents to her speaking and other public engagements.
Anne is pleased to offer speaking programs focused on humor and/or inspiration/motivation. Programs may be as short as 30 minutes (luncheon or other gathering) or as long as 90 minutes (keynote). Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Finding your inner “imperfectionist” – When perfectionism cripples us. How did we get this way and what can we do about it?
- Finding your creative voice – You have something extra inside you. How can you tap into that and do something with it?
- Pursuing your bucket list without guilt – When do you get to “do you?” How to put yourself first without guilt when your whole life has been built on the needs of others.
- Dealing with grief through humor – Laughing through the tears. The importance of humor to our mental health in the darkest of times.
- Poetry readings and discussion from “Some Days Call for Chocolate” – Have you ever left your laundry in the washer so long you have to wash it again? Anne has. And, apparently a lot of other folks have too. We dive into some of the many humorous anecdotes behind Anne’s poetry.
- Tales from a life of being “Overbooked And Underpaid” – Funny stories from years of doing too much, saying yes too often and trying to figure out how everything went sideways.
- ‘Behind The Scenes’: stories from the world of working in syndicated comics – Anne has worked in just about every aspect of the world of newspaper comics and editorial cartoons. From gag writing to colorist to comics festival organizer to associate comics editor for the Washington Post Writer’s Group, Anne can offer a unique perspective on this form of creative expression.
Anne also offers a one-woman show incorporating both her humor and her harp playing. For more information please visit “Anne Morse-Hambrock: “Some Days Call For Chocolate”.
